When it comes to knowing enough about domestic violence (DV), you should familiarize yourself with relevant facts and statistics whether you are a sufferer, survivor, or know someone who has been either a sufferer or survivor of this epidemic. 

Keeping up to date with critical information such as this is advantageous to everyone, particularly those who are specifically interested in the topic, or who are currently in need of education regarding the subject of DV.

Not only can DV effect its victims through direct impact, but through various other avenues as well. These avenues include economically later in life, during  high school and collegiate years. Intimate Statistics:

a. "20 people per minute are physically abused by someone they know, within the United States."

b. '1 of 3 women and 1 of 4 men have been victims of physical violence.'
