Need to make an appointment with an ophthalmologist

Hello guys,

I am on a one month visit to Canada. While I was on a hike along the Mast Trail, something went inside my eyes and, there are swelling and irritation then onwards. In fact, the irritation and pain started only after a day since the incident. So, I am not sure whether the pain is caused by the incident or not. But, I highly suspect that it is. Mostly, some insects had hit the soft membrane of the eye because there are a few red lines and a little swelling in one corner of the eye. Because of the discomfort and pain, I had to cancel my plans for the last two days and, currently, I am staying inside a hotel room in Toronto. I need to find an ophthalmologist as early as possible but, I don't know anyone in this area. I tried searching on the internet and found a few eye specialists in the area. But, before making an appointment with an ophthalmologist, I need to hear your opinion on this matter. Also, what is the waiting time to make an appointment with an ophthalmologist in the Toronto area? Do you think the issue is serious?
